Elvis, The King Of Rock 'n' Roll Eaton Sampler
Issued in 1995 by BMG Canada to promote the ‘50s and ‘60s box sets, the “Amazing Grace” 2 CD set , the “Command Performances” 2 CD set and the ‘70s box set at Eaton’s Canadian department stores.
Eaton’s and BMG Canada used the same marketing scheme as with their previous Eaton’s promotional CD designed to promote the ‘50s box set.
The artwork is more or less the same as the previous Eaton’s promo except this time the cover background is red. The inside of the enclosed booklet advertises the ‘50s , ‘60s and ‘70s box sets and the back of the booklet advertises the “Command Performances” 2 CD set and the Canadian version of “Elvis - The Essential Collection” release. The rear cover also states : “Promotional Copy - Not for sale. If you paid for this product , call CRIA hotline 1-800-668-8820”. The CD itself is pinkish red with the song titles listed in black print. The disc contains the same warning as the rear cover.
