Info from the liner notes:
Disc 2 recorded December 6, 1975 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Start through middle
of "Polk Salad Annie" recorded at the dinner show and the rest recorded at the
midnight show. But this is not the whole truth! The first part of "See See Rider" until James Burton's solo is from the 08:30pm show in Omaha, 1974/06/30. "Polk Salad Annie" is from the 02:30pm show in Omaha, 1974/06/30, and with Elvis saying "thank you!" for the ring from a girl the midnight show starts. "Can't Help Falling In Love" is from the 02:30 show, Omaha, 1974/06/30. CD comes in a double digipak

Concert: |
This 14th Las Vegas season belongs to my favourites. Elvis delivered top
concerts from start to finish with very appealing song line-up. The star and his band were in a great mood throughout and had a lot fun. Surely he also was joking around with his audience who definitely had wonderul evenings. All in all very entertaining shows with many highlights like: Trying To Get To You, Help Me Make It Through The Night, Just Pretend, How Great Thou Art, America, It's Now Or Never, Little Sister, One Night or Softly As I Leave You. I really like this twofer! (Ciscoking) |
