This is a compilation of different material, outtakes
and live songs from "That's The Way It is", "Elvis On Tour" and "Aloha
From Hawaii).
Tracks 7 - 9 feature the low point of bootlegged material - the "faked" live song. Audience applause is unappealingly overdubbed over RCA studio release songs with a horrible result. Some 1980's era bootleg vinyl releases "featured" this type of material.
The "Elvis On Tour" and "That's The Way It Is" movie soundtracks are the most commonly bootlegged material , RCA could have prevented 30% of bootleg releases by simply negotiating with MGM to release "official" soundtracks that actually contained songs from the films.
The back cover
is very simple made - a typewritten list of contents ! With such an attractive front cover is baffling why more time wasn't spent on the back cover. This cd was re-released by the same company with a much better front cover.
