This release comes in a fat jewel case box. The front cover shows a color photo of Elvis in his white red ladder suit holding a police hat in his right hand. The title of the release, "Elvis: The Legend Of A King", is printed in gold raised font across the top. The right side of the cover lists the credits for the release. The back cover contains a color photo of Elvis from the movie, "Elvis On Tour". It also contains a few reviews of the show and lists some of the guests such as Joan Deary, D.J. Fontana, Vester Presley, Jerry Reed, J.D Sumner etc. In the right lower corner it states in red print: "Limited Edition For Broadcast Only Not For Sale". The title of the release is printed in the middle in gold raised font. It is interesting to note that this release is not numbered and is not signed by the executive producer, Don S. Vogel. Usually this release was signed and numbered, and it seems that it is very hard to find the original release that is unnumbered and unsigned.

The release also contains a 12 page booklet listing the content of the show and the history behind this release as written by the executive producer. It is interesting to note that this release boasts that it contains the best sources of all the songs included. It describes the fact that most songs were sourced from Japanese CDs for perfect sound. Also, It's Now Or Never and Suspicious Minds were sourced from "Nipper's Great Hits - The 60's" for the "pure untouched sound". They also sourced "Love Me, Love The Life I Lead" from a reel to reel tape to achieve the best sound possible.

The two CDs are picture discs replicating the front cover. They are both identical except the image of Elvis is on the left side of the spin whole on disc #1 and on the right side on disc #2. Both discs state: "Limited Edition For Broadcast Only Not For Sale" warning just under the image of Elvis. The catalog number "ABI 2-CD Associated Broadcasters 1989" is printed on each disc as well.

It is interesting to note that this release does not contain any logos from RCA or BMG; however, the company did not issue any objections to this release. It is one of the best Elvis Radio Shows to date.
