Issued in 2002 by BMG Heritage to promote the “Elvis Today, Tomorrow & Forever” 4 CD box set.

This sampler CD is presented in a jewel case.The front cover features a close up picture, which was used on the front cover of the 4 CD box set. Across the lower part of the front cover , the following phrase is printed in white print : “Promotional Sampler From The 4-CD Box Set”. The back of the front cover displays a black and white picture of Elvis on stage in the early 1950’s and summarizes the content of the box set. Underneath the clear plastic CD tray , there is a color picture of Elvis on stage from 1955. The rear cover contains a short synopsis of this 25th Anniversary release and lists the 8 tracks contained on this sampler. A small picture showing the 4 CD set in its full glory is also printed as well as the date of its release. The RCA and BMG/Heritage logos are also printed. In the lower left corner , it states : “Promotional Only – Not For Sale”. This release also comes with a white sticker on the front of the jewel case warning that this CD is protected against unauthorized copying. The CD will only play on home audio CD players. The disc itself is red with white print. In the lower area of the disc , it states : “Selected Tracks Taken From Today , Tomorrow & Forever 4-CD/4-CS Deluxe Box Set”. The usual warning : “Promotional Only – Not For Sale” is also printed. The RCA and BMG / Heritage logos are also printed on the disc. In addition , a warning regarding copying and the fact that this CD will only play on home audio CD players is also printed on the CD. This marks the first promo CD with this protective feature.
