ARIS-BMG/ariola:

Back then many dealers parallel imported the CDs from outside Germany. This was illegal if the label has its own distributor. To stop it ARIS was founded.
ARIS-BMG/ariola, Germany, wanted to provide a unique import service. Therefore they imported many CDs from countries outside Germany which were at that time not in the German program.
We know about one ARIS import from France (German made), one from England (German made), one from the USA, nine from Japan and the above DEFINITIVE series (German made).
But the situation about the stickers is still a mystery - maybe some were lost with the shrink wrap.
And why have they changed the EVA logo to RCA (a run out of the license?)
